Salamander is a shooting game developed by Konami for Nintendo. The game was released in 1986 in Japan and in 1987 in Europe. The game has two modes of one player and two players, the single-player mode will be easier than the two-player mode. In single-player mode, you will choose one of two aircraft to control is Vic Viper and Lord British. Occasionally, the ship Lord British will also have another name as Road British due to the difference of Japanese translation into English. Like most Nintendo shooters, the Salamander is divided into 6 main stages. At the end of each stage, a final boss will appear and you will have to destroy the name to come to the next stage. Each main stage is broken down into levels with increasing difficulty.
