The creator of Super Mario 76: Nightmare Edition was NormalX71. He made it to be a more difficult version of Super Mario 76: Strange Adventure. It currently has 124 stars and is widely acknowledged as the “epitome of everything that should never be done in the name of extreme hacking.” The person who made it claimed at the time of its release that it was the most difficult hack that had ever been made. However, since the release of Super Mario 64: The Black Virus by NormalX71 in early 2020, this claim has been rendered obsolete.
