A ROM hacker who goes by the alias Daman remade the original Pokemon FireRed game and called it Pokemon Sunset Orange (also known as the Pokemon FireRed Hack). The plot of this novel, which was inspired by the popular anime series, opens with Ash Ketchum and his friends arriving back in Kanto, where they grew up, following their journey to the Indigo League. Immediately after arriving, the group is given a mission by Professor Oak, who requests that the player look for a Poke Ball somewhere in the Tropical Orange Islands. During the course of their journey, they were tricked by Team Rocket into boarding a ship. Unfortunately, the group came across a storm that forced them to abandon the ship, and they eventually washed up on shore. There are also the beginnings of interesting stories here.
