The Pokémon FireRed modification known as Rijon Adventures was conceived of by Haruki Hanai and implemented by Koolboyman. It is 20 years after the events of Pokémon Brown and takes place in Rijon. The player takes control of Brown’s child rather than Brown himself, and Professor Oak is replaced by the aunt of the player’s rival, who is most likely Mura’s sister or cousin. Other than those two key differences, the game is very similar to Pokémon FireRed. Bear in mind that the only parent that appears in the house is Brown himself; the protagonist’s mother is not shown at any point in the story.
