The player is first presented with Princess Peach/Toadstool’s usual message, which has been changed to “please come to the castle” repeating. The castle is not what it seems as an eyeless Oof enters. A Super Mario 64 ROM hack called Please Come to the Castle was created. A “Creepypasta Competition” hosted by YouTuber SimpleFlips inspired Felegg to develop the hack. As a result of the hack, Mario must pass through a creepypasta-filled version of Princess Peach’s castle as he plays the game.
