The plot of the game differs between Japanese and Western versions, but only a slight change in the date and character name. The game is set in the future world; at this time, people have migrated to many other planets to live. At a space station located on the moon, the control system “Dire 51” of this place failed, so it started attacking humans and developing to invade Earth. Earth leaders have created MUSHA, a human-controlled mecha, to combat Dire 51. With vertically scrolling shooter, you will control MUSHA to fight against the mighty weapons of Dire 51. MUSHA can use a variety of weapons such as lasers, fire, and rotating shields when collecting the same “Power Chips”, the weapons will be upgraded. If collecting a different type of ammunition, the weapon will be given to the previous level. If you collect three Power Chips, you will be equipped with two small drones to support the attack, and they also have many types of attacks such as frontal, rearward or spinning, etc. If you possess a high-level weapon that is attacked, you will lose weapons but not lose lives.
