Shao Kahn has been defeated by the forces of light, and Earthrealm was once again safe... or at least it was. Now, one of Raiden's biggest foes, Shinnok, has escaped his eternal prison in the netherrealm, and wreaking havoc upon Earthrealm once more. Now it is once again up to the defenders of Earthrealm (some old, and some new) to defeat this threat once again. Will they succeed and save Earthrealm? Or will Shinnok destroy what is left of it?
