King Quest V is an adventure game released in November 1990 by Sierra On-Line. In the beginning of the game, a cloaked figure suddenly appears in front of a castle. He used some kind of magic to make a tornado appear. After the tornado passed, the castle was gone from your sight. During the incident, a man named King Graham was not in the castle. He was hunting in a forest far from the castle and was the only royal who did not disappear along with the others in the lineage. After returning to the castle, he finds it mysteriously gone. At this time, King Graham met a talking parrot named Cedric.
