Baseball Simulator 1,000 is a sports game developed by Culture Brain. The game was released on Nintendo in Japan in 1989 and in North America in 1990. In the game, there are four tournaments available. There are 18 teams in this game: 6 weak teams, 6 average teams, and 6 strong teams. Strong teams have the best players and also special abilities. This means that players like bats, passers and pitchers are able to make a difference using the special abilities they possess. Their special abilities include Bomb Hit: exploding upon hitting the ground or Shadowless Ball Hit, creating elusive balls … The pitchers can throw things like fireballs or lots of balls at once. There are also other special abilities including the ability to jump very high, running very far in a short time. There are bats who can hit the ball at such a great speed that anyone who tries to grab it is pushed into the outside wall or the pitcher can throw the ball at an extremely fast speed. Each time a special player uses their special ability, they lose a bit of stamina and when all of them are used up they cannot perform their special abilities. The fitness points of the players will recover over time.
