Avatar: The Legend of Aang is an action role-playing game with a plot based on an animated film about the adventures of a 12-year-old boy with his friends, who must bring peace and unity to the world from the Fire Nation empire’s invasion of the three nations. Initially, the player controls the boy Aang – the main character, performing the main tasks of the game. There are dialogues with other characters (Aang’s group of friends) to determine the mission goals, use the basic buttons to control the character’s movement. There is a map on the bottom with another icon. Each other (Aang is a fire-fire system) that helps players determine their direction and current position. The plot will sometimes appear when on the road to perform a task (does not affect the character very much). Along the way can collect new items (located in the yellow trunks) scattered along the way. When collected, the item will be placed in an analog stick to use, depending on the item will have different uses, items that can be received include medicine, smoke bombs, incense and food.
